Reading and using duas
Sources, purity and finding the right supplication.
Are the duas and references authentic?
Each dua lists its source, such as the Quran, Sahih al-Bukhari or Sahih Muslim. The Arabic text follows the same verified library used in the DeenDock app, with transliteration to help non-Arabic readers pronounce it.
Can I read these duas without wudu?
Scholars agree that dua and dhikr are permitted without wudu; purity is recommended but not required. The Quran itself is a separate case — most scholars require wudu before touching the mushaf, though reading from a screen is debated.
How do I find a dua for a specific situation?
