The 2.0 redesign.

DeenDock 2.0 is a rebuild of the experience, not a coat of paint. The same data and the same privacy, with a calmer surface and the tools people asked for most.

New design

  • A complete editorial redesign: peach gradients, forest green and calm pastel surfaces across every screen.
  • New typography — Poppins for interface text, Instrument Serif for display numbers, and Scheherazade New for Quran and dua Arabic.
  • Light and dark themes tuned separately, with warmer dark surfaces instead of pure black.
  • A quieter home screen: today’s prayer, the next prayer countdown and the Qibla, without a wall of cards.

Prayer and Qibla

  • Prayer times show the calculation method and school in plain language, with a method picker built in.
  • A live AR Qibla compass, plus a standard compass view when the camera is not needed.
  • Adhan notifications with per-prayer sounds, a pre-Adhan reminder and quiet hours.
  • Prayer logs that stay on your device.

Quran, duas and tools

  • Verse-by-verse audio with downloads for offline listening.
  • All 114 surahs with translations, a juz view and a reading history.
  • Duas, the 99 Names of Allah and Salawat, each with Arabic, transliteration and source.
  • Tasbeeh with haptics, sounds and saved presets.
  • A mosque finder with one-tap directions and saved mosques.
  • Hijri calendar with home-screen widgets and Ramadan suhoor and iftar tools.

Under the hood

  • Prayer times and Hijri dates sync from AlAdhan; Quran text and translations from AlQuran Cloud.
  • Faster cold start and smoother scrolling on mid-range Android phones.
  • Location setup now offers precise, approximate or city-only options — no permission prompt on first open.
  • Security and dependency updates across the release.
